Welcome to William Howard Taft High School. Established in 1960, Taft is completing its 50th year of academic and athletic excellence! My highly qualified staff and I take great pride in the success of our graduates and the achievement of our students who presently are matriculating toward high school graduation – test scores have continued to rise as our students have continued to maintain high academic standards. We will continue to build a safe school environment where all students are able to learn by strictly enforcing attendance policies. I am most proud that our students display respect for themselves and others and contribute to the community in which we learn. In addition, we are committed to continuing to strengthen our various Small Learning Communities, as many community partners invest in our school and our students!
